| 11.07.2004 Rasmussen Family (Denmark) This is really a top hotel!
On top of the Prague Central Railway Station that is!!!
You cannot see it on the nice presentation picture, but it is actually a part of the railway complex and you can listen to all announcements of arrivals and departures day and night. The parking places available in the nearby (open air) garage, have nothing to do with the hotel and cost EUR 25.- per day!!!
The staff is nice and the (very old) rooms are clean and OK, especially if you are a passionate train spotter.
You can have better rooms closer to the city center for half the price if you try the spot market on arrival |

| 07.07.2004 Jonny T (Newcastle) Most impressive features were the cleanliness and the location. Rooms are functional but value for money. Entry system by intercom does give some comfort. Never made breakfast so cant comment. dont expect all mod cons and swish decor, but you are not in Prague to sit in your hotel room are you ? |

| 07.04.2004 Carlos (Spain) We were not able to have a shower with hot water during the morning, before going to
breakfast (between 8 and 9 a.m.). The reason given to us at the reception,
when we complained the first morning, was that during that time it is "peak
shower time" at the hotel and the hot water system at the hotel is not able
to cope with it, specially if you are in the rooms of the third and fourth
floors. "What would you expect for a touristic type hotel?" was the final
answer. Our room was number 318.
We are quite upset because of the issue and the way our demand was
responded. One of the basic things we expect in a 3 stars hotel is having
hot water in the shower at any time during night and day (at least this is
standard for a three stars hotel in Spain). |

| 07.04.2004 Carlos (Madrid, Spain) Just to add to the previous review that the rooms do not have a "full bathroom" (at least what I understand for a full bathroom). The size of the bathrooms are 2 sqm and the shower is not separeted from the rest, so once you have a shower the bathroom can not be used in normal condition because everything is wet. In Spain this hotel will get no more than 2 stars. |

| 27.11.2003 Gemma and David (Middlesbrough, UK) The room was clean and functional and the staff were very friendly and helpful in advising on places of interest, good restaurants etc. The airport transfers were very prompt and efficient too. The hotel is ideal if you're on a budget but want a central location. We'd stay again. |
| |
| 02.07.2003 Chris (Newbury Berkshire) Found the City Inn hotel very good value for money, had everything needed really (bed, shower and decent breakfast). Location is ideal, just a short walk to all attractions and a short stagger back from all the bars and nightlife. As advised in the previous review either book an airport transfer or ask a taxi driver for a set price before you put your bags in the cab (The City Inn costs no more than 790kr). All the drivers have a book with a set price for each hotel, if you don't ask they'll charge you whatever they feel like. |

| 12.02.2003 Ian and Lynda (Leeds, England) Hotel was very clean and our room was more than adequately sized. The shower and bathroom were well appointed and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great, walking distance to everything. If you're on a tight budget then it's the ideal hotel really!!! A word of advice - book an airport transfer when you book your hotel or the taxi drivers at the station will rip you off!!! |

| 11.02.2003 PAUL (Leicester England) Very good stay at Hotel it was everything I expected good location, clean, well run & freindly staff.Would reccomend to others. |
| |
| 26.12.2002 Les (Scarborough) The hotel was fine. Located next to the railway station but no intrusive noise in our room. Video security door for entrance was good (we saw a guy try to open it and leave when it was secure).
Good location - ten minute to main town square and Wnecelas Square.
No kettle etc in room - take a water boiler. Efficient continental breakfast. |
| |
| 12.12.2002 Dave & Sue (Mansfield,Notts,England) Very clean and comfortable hotel and within easy walking distance of City Centre.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.Only drawback is sound of Railway Station P.A. during night.
Very Good value for money and will use again on the next visit. |

| 09.12.2002 Salih GØrdallÜ (Turkey) City Inn, Prague - The hotel location is perfect and very close to the old town. But I faced some problems with staff
1-The hotel is not clean, they didn't change my bead sheets unless I request. They didn't have any shampoo or any bath soap in the bath room. Also the breakfast is not good.
2-Some of the staff specially a lady Who is working during firday and saturday is lack of engilish and not gentle .
So I think this is not a 3 star hotel. It is only a 2 star hotel. |

| 25.11.2002 T.Storer (UK) City Inn, Prague - Excellent city centre hotel location for investigating all Prague has to offer. Next to main train station but we found this no problem re noise etc. Rooms were of quite a good size, very clean and the reception staff were helpful and spoke fluent English and were available at all times of day & night. Breakfast - typical European selection. |
| |
| 23.09.2002 jim hansen (plymouth devon england) a well situated friendly hotel. clean and comfortable. helpful staff. wihin easy walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. |
| |
| 20.08.2002 Chris Edmundson (Edinburgh) Had a great time in Prague and found that the Hotel City Inn provided everything we required. Clean tidy accomodation, with staff that were always very helpful and courteous. |
| |
| 18.08.2002 DAN RAGLAND (CONROE, TEXAS,USA) HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND DESK CLERK VERY HELPFUL. |
| |
| 05.08.2002 Marshall (Toronto) spotless, convenient, excellent value; however, beware room 106 is the size of a postage stamp; we had to drop "non-smoking" to get a real room |
| |
| 24.07.2002 Myrna Horton (Switzerland) The hotel is very good for the price. Front desk staff is very helpful, the rooms are very clean and even the location is good. Easy walking distance to everything, but away from the crowds. It is on a city street next to one of the minor train stations and has no ambiance outside, but is very good and also secure inside. I would stay here again. |
| |
| 19.07.2002 philip cooper (uk) A pleasant enough hotel, very close to all Pragues major sites,it is also very close to a railway station so be aware that you are likely to be awoken by the constant announcements from the public address system that start around 5a.m.!! |
| |
| 12.06.2002 Jon (London, England) Not much to look at from outside, but once you reach the reception you find that you are in a hotel that is kept very clean, and has very friendly staff. |
| |
| 01.02.2002 Mette Durholm Guenther (Copenhagen, Denmark) Close to everything, friendly service, nice rooms - if we return to Prague, we'd like to stay there again |
